David Knox has built an international reputation as a top sales trainer and keynote speaker in the real estate industry. As an authority on Pricing, Negotiating and Selling, he has presented more than 3,000 seminars over the last 25 years across the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand Ireland, the Netherlands and South Africa..
His unique ability to combine humor with education keeps audiences entertained while they learn. They gain both the methods that work and the inspiration to use them.
David began selling residential real estate in 1972 for a small company. In April of 1973 he was one of the first to join a brand new real estate company in Minneapolis called Burnet Gagner.
In 1976 the company became Burnet Realty and Ralph Burnet set a goal for substantial growth. To this end he asked David to build and head a major training division to help with the recruiting and development of salespeople. David ran up to ten 4-week training sessions a year.
In 1979 David was accepted into the cadre of CRS instructors for the Realtors National Marketing Institute. He honed his training skills with coaching from other instructors like Bill Barrett, Del Bain, Howard Brinton and Dave Beson. He became a Senior Instructor and authored the rewrites of courses RS201 and RS202.
In 1982 Burnet Realty was purchased by Merrill Lynch Realty Associates, (MLRA) of Stamford, CT. During the next year the national office noticed David's training program and was impressed. In the summer of 1983 they promoted him to the position of National Training Director where he was responsible for the training of the 15,000 salespeople in their 33 national operating units.
In 1986 when Merrill Lynch decided to leave the real estate business, David saw his chance to start his own training company. On June 1, 1987 David formed David Knox Productions.
